Now my non crazy son plays it nonstop, he is ranked in the top 100 players. At one point I was in the top 200 ranked players for the original AOE 2 but even myself, I had to grow up and get a job and get a crazy ex-wife. wow.I have no idea what keeps this game going but for some time it was dead, very hard to find players who still wanted to play on multiplayer, mostly diehard fans of the original still played.
